As a Montgomery County native, Nell grew up in Kensington, MD and attended Montgomery College in Rockville. Licensed to practice law in the states of Maryland and New York, Nell continues to apply years of experience in advocacy, organization, coordination, and project management. As a Student Attorney, she provided legal consultation through the Civil Rights of Persons with Disabilities Clinic, and drafted and submitted discrimination complaints to the Federal Department of Justice. Nell also earned the Disability Law Community Service Appreciation Award while attending the University of Maryland School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree.
